Earth vs Mars is a charming and surprisingly stylish take on the turn-based strategy genre, blending classic tactical gameplay with a playful, almost cartoon-like presentation that immediately sets it apart.
⦁ The extreme mode difficulty never felt entirely unfair and I had to reset a few times in a few missions.
Also, I have the latest i9 with 128 GB RAM, 4080 Super, all of which usually stays quite cool which is why I was surprised to hear the fans rev up to max during a turn-based game with cartoon graphics running at 1080p.
The colorful, vibrant art direction gives everything a lighthearted tone, from the expressive unit designs to the flashy combat effects.
I'm very excited to see Relic trying smaller scope games and appreciate that they seem to be still providing some support for this game, including the recent Steam Deck verified patch, which finally convinced me to pick this up.
