The base mechanic is simple and easy to get started on and the combo system again is simple but does allow for some planning strategy deck building and all those wonderful things.

In a world that is now full of Vampire Survivors clones, this sequel feels like a breath of fresh air and is one I won’t be giving up any time soon – especially as it plays flawlessly on the Steam Deck.

It does never reach the highs of a game such as Slay the Spire but it really doesn't need to as this is more of a fun (almost comedic) satire on old Castlevania games that doesn't take itself too serious but has a widespread collection of playable characters/deck variants and unlocks to keep you busy for at least 10-20 hours.
