-Randomized Stat Gains: The single player campaign uses Random Number Generation for your created characters stats, these let you move faster, hit harder, not die better, etc.
Moment-to-moment gameplay is energetic and often unpredictable.
Though this remake doesn't include some of the additions from those ports, the game makes up for it with a whole lot of substance: more teams, more characters, more techniques, character creation, team creation, stage creation, a robust single player mode and online play.
I admire the mix of nostalgia and 3D enviromental graphics here.
The Single Play mode has a total of 9 rounds (with a secret 10th round) that shows the complete story which can be played on three difficulty levels and players are encouraged to use their created character.
