I can't say that the story has been predictable, mainly because it's not that well fleshed out yet (if at all), but the gameplay is fun enough that I don't really care too much.

In fact the exhaust trail and weapons and shield graphics were more than acceptable.

Decent replay value thanks to branching skill trees and three different main quest lines to follow.

The art style for the ship models and bases is clean and stylish.

The game has a pretty low learning curve, and piloting your ship will become natural very quickly.

First of all, the game heralds diversity as one of its main features, and in this does a good job since there is not only a good variety of ships, weapon classes, accessories and equipment - but there also is good variety in the number of "builds" you can choose to make, from combat-focused ones to more profit oriented such as miner or trader.
