This approach goes beyond its narrative merits as it mechanically adds to the realness of Kyle Katarn’s character as an experienced bounty hunter who happens to become the most compelling, inept Jedi who ever lived.
The graphics progressed a decent bit, and the ability to wield a lightsaber in the title was an interesting new addition to the formula.
