The Magic Circle

The story is quite melancholic yet hopeful, both the story of the game and of the people involved with it from every angle.

The gameplay is really excellent - you can't really do anything yourself, you have to freeze and edit enemies so that they become your allies instead of fighting you, and you can also take their abilities (down to fighting and walking) and give them to other creatures.

Voice acting is excellent and the writing does pretty well at setting the scene of a stressed out game studio.

The graphics are stunning, although somewhat simple, the music is beautiful to listen to, the characters are lovable and a joy to play and tag along, the voice acting is stellar and the story is fun to listen, watch and play

The voice acting is all superb, some of the dialogue is a little funky, but that's a reflection of the characters themselves instead of the writing, I can tell because a certain someone with purple subtitles never said anything that sounded bad, and they're the most grounded character.
