What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Despite the gameplay tending to be a little repetitive, it's still quite enjoyable.
To start, the story is incredibly barebones, with only two important things happening in its entire 10 hours of runtime, one happening very shortly after you start, and the other being placed at the very end.
Permadeath mode is a fun addition for the hardcore achievement hunters, traps are neat additions to levels that do actually change how you navigate the stage, randomly-found items which boost stats are cool, the new minigames are awesome, the new music and overhauled visuals are nice, the sound design is genuinely unnverving at times, and the devs going out of their way to add a reference to a prominent Bendy fan via an easter egg was a wonderful touch.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
