Vanishing Realms™

The game mechanics are simple but clean and well designed, with lots of fun weapons to use and an inventory easy to manage.

Overall - 10 - You spend just enough time exploring and poking around in boxes and burning piles of leaves/straw on the floor looking for treasure with interspersed combat to keep things from getting to tedious or boring.

The graphics is in a "cartoon" style, unrealistic, with good lighting effects that make the game both "light" and enjoyable.

In my opinion the developers have done a good job and have shown that they have not abandoned this title but rather, have developed a sort of interactive story, gradually enriching it.

Inventory management is handled through a spatial system where items are stored and retrieved manually, reinforcing the illusion of inhabiting the world.

Being in the habit of smashing every container in site and wrecklessly grabbing every item in site with a mouse point or controller, the realistic action of picking up every item/coin/treasure and placing it in a "pocket" added a fun level of realism that made me appreciate the difficulty of being a "hero".
