What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Chapter 3 is a little slow which also makes the game feel longer and even a little boring but since it's all part of the story I can't really fault it for anything.
The graphics (in this case I specifically mean the environments) have tons of detail in them and the character silhouettes are created and animated very nicely.
Silence of the Sleep does have some very interesting sound design and visuals (even the pause menu looks impressive), and a decent story too.
it's not all positives, though. the game is hard as f-ck at times, too hard, unenjoyably hard. some of the objectives are dim at best, a lot of puzzles are not easy, many items are hard to spot, and certain gameplay features are confusing even after the tutorials. the controls could really do with an overhaul, that this game doesn't have controller support is more than mildly surprising. overall, this game could have been vastly improved with some play testing (yeah, i'm looking at you, Jesse - hit me up)
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
