Whilst it might not do anything crazy original, what it does do is offer a really fun experience with just the right amount of difficulty.
The pixelart is colorful and the soundtrack fits the game nicely.
Tight gameplay, charming visuals, banger of a soundtrack, very cool references to other games, plenty of Easter eggs to keep you (even more) engaged, and a classic yet novel feel to a genre that never gets old and that has molded many a gamer’s sensibilities.
The music is such a blast and combined with the visuals and animation, it feels so nostalgic, it has a cozy feeling like none other I've seen in recent years <3
It has to game modes Story mode which is really fun and chill, and Arcade if you want to take the game more seriously (which I recommend to do)
