Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
At first glance, its stripped-down 1-bit aesthetic may suggest a minimal experience, but what lies beneath is a surprisingly layered and engaging system of dice manipulation, tactical planning, and rogue-lite replayability.

Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
A delightful rogue-lite with a nice pixel style, and a wide variety of different skills and strategies available for all the characters (greataxe, my beloved!).

Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
It manages to take the oldschool look and feel of a dungeon crawler with crisp retro graphics and solid background music (Unobtrusive I have to say unlike most games) and wrap it in a BRILLIANT rogutelite package.

Difficulty
Players who bring up Difficulty mostly praise it.
And you feel like that might make the game too easy eventually, there are a good variety of difficulty modifiers to tailor the runs, and eventually allow you to go up against the real final boss (or I assume, I'm not there yet).

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
I think it might have been well served by offering fewer opportunities to invest in a larger number of upgrades all at once rather than drip-feeding them, since it felt a little bit hard to come up with a strategy when the benefits offered were so constant yet also so incremental, but there may well have been sound design reasons why this was not practical.

Works fine on Steam Deck, I've been using mouse trackpad rather than gamepad controls.
