Tight and responsive controls (best played with a gamepad) with a mixture of great movement and combat, from inspirations of past legendary titles of the 8-16 bit era, tight combat mechanics, intuitive movement mechanics, non-linear level design, worldbuilding/aesthetic, melding together into it's own unique world and fun/expansive gameplay mechanics creating a very unique playstyle in it's own right.

Runs flawlessly on Steam Deck with responsive controls, no performance hiccups, and crisp visuals that scale well to the handheld’s screen.

Crisp 8-bit graphics, from the beautiful select-stage map to the various stages and environments, the varied deadly enemy/bosses with subtle nostalgic inspiration, accompanied by a great soundtrack and impactful sound design bringing the apocalyptic world of Odallus: The Dark Call alive.
