i've only played for an hour total at the moment though i absolutely had to write a review for this criminally underrated and extremely unique and lovely roguelike indie, it has a special blend of fast paced bullet hell style inspired gameplay with tight timing and interesting mechanics and breaks in the fast pace depending on your playstyle and upgrades you choose to take, it can be very fast paced and more instinctual or you can take a more methodical, planned and thought out approach to a situation if you want to

the art, characters, music, sounds and gameplay all have such extremely lovely personality and character, i love Handy they're very cute and i love that each playstyle gives them a unique and cute costume, i had to get the ost bundle the music composition is extremely lovely and only a few dollars more, it's so extremely charming and lovely

there is an accessibility setting that makes the text easier to read if the stylistic text is hard on your eyes, as well as multiple difficulty options if things feel too easy or too hard, and the upgrades i feel allow you to balance your build so things don't become too overpowered in an uninteresting way since stats are treated like a resource, and you also get opportunities to sacrifice upgrades you find less interesting to round out your build the way you want more, i also love that it feels like a more laidback roguelike in the sense of feeling shorter letting you do a run or two here and there without taking up your whole day

Combat

there are multiple "classes" or rather costumes for Handy that give them different playstyles to unlock as you progress that you can choose from at the start of a run, which i feel adds a lot of fun depth to your builds, so far i've only unlocked the gunslinger though the difference between the time hand / melee and the knockback and range on the gunslinger is fun and keeps things from becoming repetitive along with experimenting with different upgrades
