+Good gameplay that focuses on building labyrinths of course but also controlling the Minotaur giving you two different experiences at once
Unlike the demo the game didn't suddenly spike in difficulty and I found myself easily utilising knowledge I'd learned from that demo in the main game and got to about depth 6 before I made a mistake in my layout and fell prey to my adversaries.
The graphics are quite good, and the overall presentation — including music and atmosphere — is well executed.
In the combat mazes the lighting is much better thankfully, which is where most of the time is spent.
You add to that an enjoyable soundtrack to listen to, alongside the mental gymnastics building up trying to optimize the lethality of your maze, and you get an experience I'd definitely recommend to anyone interested in some mythological puzzle busting.
Here I will add it plays great on a Steam Deck with the default controller layout.
