What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I'd say I get about one unlock per run, and there are ~100 characters to unlock along with with various boosts and character formations, so plenty of content in that vein.
The character hiring and formation mechanics should give the game a solid amount of replayability.
Played it on Steam Deck (mostly) and desktop PC.
The infernal environments create an appropriate backdrop for the supernatural premise, and the dramatic lighting, elaborate character abilities, and spectacular summoning animations ensure that combat remains visually exciting throughout extended sessions.
The presentation is great, good voice acting, fantastic music - this is what you can expect from a Koei Tecmo release.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
