None of the puzzles or dialogue trees are all that difficult, so this can be enjoyed by most without needing a guide.
The writing for the most part is strong, and the characters' personalties come across well, helped in no small part by good voice acting throughout.
It's a low budget game so don't expect a long game or good technically advanced graphics.
In terms of difficulty, the puzzles are if not simple, then logical, so you are never hunting for rogue pixels or throwing every item at every character, hoping for the best.
-Good "quality of life" features: lots of save slots, spacebar interactivity highlight function, polished interface, double click fast travel to next room, quick travel map, main menu "continue" autosave feature, in game hint system.
While that game featured a hand drawn 2D style of gameplay.
