What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Pros: Casual fun, great characters and presentation, surprisingly deep mechanics and strategy (not super deep, though), easy to play well
Developed by Mega Cat Studios and published by Playground Productions, this updated release respects its roots by preserving the simple, enjoyable gameplay and colorful personality that defined the series.
There’s an odd comfort to how homemade it all feels, as if the developers cobbled together the graphics with love and budgetary desperation.
The sound design is great overall.
