I was surprised by the amount of out-there weapons there were to unlock...like a literal guitar.

The concept of "rogue-life" is a unique one, but goodness gracious is this an addictive amalgamation of gameplay mechanics.

This game has all the good parts of other co-op games and carefully avoids the bad.

the animation and graphics are great, although a bit expensive on resources.

The combat is above average with some massive difficulty spikes and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be repeat farming other missions, and the multiplayer aspect can undercut a lot of the early tutorialization, but overall this is a pretty incredible little nugget, I'm most impressed by the weapon designs and player customization.

Every new weapon, bot, fish, cosmetic, crop, power-up, and story item feels well-designed, balanced, and well-timed.
