What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The art style is rich and expressive, with each scene carefully illustrated to resemble a living, breathing ecosystem.
Morphopolis, developed by Dan Walters and Ceri Williams and published by Dan Walters, is a small, atmospheric puzzle adventure that leans more toward visual storytelling and exploration than traditional gameplay challenge.
The pretty much repetitive process in each part of the story (five in total) is interspersed with full-screen puzzles of varied styles, not too hard to solve once you have got the hang of it, but where what you are supposed to do isn't always obvious or straightforward.
This visual approach is complemented by a gentle, ambient soundtrack that enhances the calm, almost meditative atmosphere.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
