What players think
The recurring themes across 228 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
the visuals are simple but effective and well-drawn, and unexpectedly brutal. some shots look like photos put through a two-toned filter (would not be surprised if that was the case). what i liked most was the writing - the way things are described and worded are both haunting and emotionally evocative. sound design and music are fitting, i like the main menu theme a lot, its very disorienting. within 30 seconds of booting up the game i ran and saved the album on spotify lol
Combined with effective sound design and a consistently uneasy atmosphere, the audiovisual presentation succeeds in maintaining suspense throughout the experience.
- I’m a huge fan of the art style
