This would not be a problem if the game was leaning in the same thematic direction of Papers Please, with a focus on the mundanity and banality of evil and cruelty, the dystopian bureaucracy of the modern world, the tedious repetitiveness of a dayjob - but while the gameplay follows the Papers Please format, the game's narrative and themes are much more directly engaging.
