Legacy of Defense, developed and published by Enter the Game Studios, offers a fresh and invigorating take on the tower defense genre by seamlessly combining traditional defensive gameplay with strategic deck-building mechanics.
I started playing it when the demo popped up in OperaGx and have been excitedly waiting for the steam release, i am very happy to see an expansion in skills and upgrade trees touching on things that i thought was lacking in that demo, of course the new characters and new builds they can lean unto has been a great addition.
Visually, Legacy of Defense impresses with its beautifully crafted 2D art style that captures the atmospheric tension of a fantasy world on the brink of collapse.
However these little interactions seem to be few and far between, I could be wrong and if I am, then it would benefit the players to be shown in some way these interactions, be it via a compendium in the main menu that fills up as you find, use and level up skills or via a note in the skill saying that the interaction will give you a bonus or open up a skill.
hope they add more features. its a good game for the price too. i am a fan tower defense games and non-p2w games, this is a good game in that spirit (uo defender aka protector undefined era where games were just fun, good and had a bit of depth without huge p2w, worth donating!)
