It should be pointed out that although the game does not have the depth or variety of something like DCSS it is still a complex game with plenty of depth (and difficulty).

The sound design and attitude is still there from Jupiter Hell, but the engine is from the chaotic and crunchy DRL, and the graphics are pixelly and (importantly) work on my 6 year old laptop with no dGPU.
