Gameplay- and story-wise, very fun and interesting.

While the game's graphics may appear somewhat antiquated initially, they seamlessly complement the title's nostalgic charm.
It is also well balanced with a good soundtrack and an interesting story.
Also, another thing that may or may not be an issue depending how you look at it, you can only ever have 4 abilities equiped, wheter they are passive, active, or magic, this is kinda anoying since you constantly need to open menu to switch them out, but perhaps if you could equip everything at once or atleast more than 4, the game would had been way too easy..that being said I dont think I died once (except on the last unfair dungeon), but I always overleved.
I played through the entire game on Steam Deck, which works fine, but using the deck (or a controller) creates some problems with using healing items quickly as you either have to use a valuable accessory slot to quick-use them or open the inventory and then navigate with the control stick, which makes healing in combat hard and awkward - mouse and keyboard probably work better in this case.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
