Rain World

The story is fine.

There is a progression system based on a resource called Karma, which is accrued by consuming food over several cycles — effectively in-game days.

The art is so gorgeous and detailed, with beautiful ambient lighting at times.

I'm not a big platformer guy, but I love trying new things and bits I heard of the soundtrack convinced me to try it.

Having played the game with some of my friends (sometimes with a multiplayer mod, sometimes in parallel) made the experience all the more entertaining: we would give each other advice, point out mechanics we would discover, and help each other out a lot, which allowed us to make a lot of progress without having to check a guide or anything.

moonie, five pebbsi, very significant harassment, seven red suns, silver of straw, chasing wind, etc. also fluffy green bean, cocaine cat, banana boi, peeled banana boi, skinny purple thang, oh so peeping, oh lawd he comin', b o m b c a t, and more make this game (which i own on xbox, bcuz it was only 12.99 for everything) that i got during summer sale for 9.99 absolutely worth it, with my previous 247 hour xbox play time showing that this game has infinite replayability, great friendly coop chaos, a 'slightly depressed' community with the happiest animations, mod support (hehe porlcat), and just awesome campaigns leads to this game being S++++++++++++ fr fr also if ur reading this buy it. u know u want to.
