It seems that the devs mentioned that the endings would be bittersweet at best, and I found that interesting for the narrative and for the otome genre itself.

I was shocked to see that this was a ren'py game -- the mechanics, the UI, everything very clearly did a lot to distinguish itself (in a positive way!) from most titles using the engine.

Lastly, I adore the artstyle and the visuals of LE, which the main reason why I decided to collect all cgs, even the newest patch lol.

God I have to discuss the atmosphere, it really knows how to keep me on edge and the art just helps it even more (I had nightmares after my first ending, but maybe I'm just a scaredy-cat but I ADORE horror and this game does it very well without overshadowing any other elements). what also helped in creating the creepy atmosphere were the glitchy effects & texts AND the sfx.
