Zort

The co-op mode is both a blessing and a curse: exploring haunted corridors with a friend is terrifying fun, but it also exposes how janky some of the mechanics can be.

In terms of gameplay, ignoring all the difficulties, it was quite fun to play with friends.

Zort is an episodic game, episode 1 was a horror themed factory escape, episode 2 leans into some occult mystery, with a fun story twist, and episode 3 is an open world sea exploration.

This game reminds me a lot of "AKARI AND THE ABYSS" as they are practically the same, with the exception that this game has a better art style and voice acting in Japanese, so if you have played that game, this one will be quite familiar to you.

The second act felt dark and tense, while the third one, on the contrary, was bright and sunny — especially the moments when you sail from one island to another with relaxing music that reminds you of the Minecraft soundtrack.

While it’s not built as a massive content-heavy horror epic, Zort succeeds as a focused multiplayer experience with enough variety in its encounters and activities to keep runs from feeling identical.
