In terms of gameplay, I'd say the mechanics strike a decent balance between complexity and simplicity.

The game being super laid back about the difficulty takes a lot of the stress off, because I'm genuinely not sure if I'll be able to beat some of the later stages at Limbo difficulty, but being allowed to skill up at lower difficulties first and still unlock the characters leaves me feeling like I'll get my money's worth no matter what.
