Super Panda Adventures

Super Panda Adventures is one for those games that should be tagged as a “Hidden Gem”, while the story is not that original at all, its value is easily found on the mechanics, gameplay and partly RPG elements, the 2D and immature-like but intelligent design made of this game a total surprise to me.

Whether you are a casual gamer that just wants to enjoy a fun game with a good story, to a hardcore gamer who prefers roguelites and rage-quitting, this game has you in mind!

Learning how your foes will attack and adjusting your fighting style to the situation feels very rewarding (especially on the hardest difficulty, you can really get a bite taken out of your health if you don't adapt!).

The marvellous and colourful graphics are very good and reminiscient of classic platformers, such as, "Super Mario" or "Sonic".

But the game controls are solid, combat is flawless, platforming is tight, defeating difficult bosses are fun.

It is normal to expect midi elements and 8-bit music, the soundtrack is quite interesting, from high-tempo tunes to slow ones, fitting the atmosphere and aesthetics of the many places we visit.
