Arms of God

The basis of the game is solid and there are some very good ideas (weapon crafting and the upgrades for example) and most of the time I am having fun playing the game, until I run into yet another map filled with area denial hell and curse out loud.

For example, combining weapons obviously makes them strong but cross combining like a fire bow and electric turret doesnt always have a benefit, and it should, it would open the game play and possibilities exponentially.

The first difficulty level is good and you'll get that nice feeling of wading through swarms of monsters but that feeling quickly goes away once you step into the harder difficulties.

The music is fantastic, clear inspiration taken from DOOM soundtrack (pre Mick getting shafted), Adam Dzieżyk nailed it a microscopical bend.

The game looks really pretty, my PC can run the game on max graphics, but I choose not to for more stable framerate and to not turn my place into a sauna.

I like the story/campaign elements as it feels like you're actually doing something rather than mindlessly slaughtering hordes.
