This is a fantastic game with a charming, throught provoking world, characters that feel human, gorgeous art and an amazing soundtrack.

I don't think calling R99 a gacha game does it justice; its story is in contention with not just other gachas but with other video games and media in general for how good it is and the gameplay is fun and just hovering on that perfect line where if you want to get really into it, you can, but if you don't want to you can progress through the story without much difficulty either.

There’s a puzzle solving mode, a rogue-like mode where your inventory management is like a puzzle to help you gain different buffs and effects, Limbo (like abyss, but much more forgiving), a customizable wilderness where you can place your characters, and one of my favorites: Critter Clash (which returns very soon!).
