What players think
The recurring themes across 47 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The main selling point is the HD Mode, which increases the rendering resolution and adds new textures.
The arranged soundtrack is a welcome addition and nowhere near as bad as others have made it out to be.
The controls snap nice and tight with it on, so no need to worry about input lag, which dogs City Connection everywhere they go since the Cotton fiasco years ago.
The good art direction and use of setpieces make the memorization process easier but the punishing difficulty remains, and has aged well for coming from the PS1.
