What players think
The recurring themes across 219 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Quests and general "puzzles" are boring, best of them was probably when we needed to find that long password all over the place.
The visuals look great and are optimized pretty well, but the environments, in my opinion, don't feel too liminal when there's a lot of crowded scraps and furniture around every corner, but some of the larger areas and connecting hallways between areas still give off unsettling, liminal, and empty vibes.
Finally a backrooms story that is a legitimate campaign experience that can be shared with friends, that isn't just a co-op walking simulator, essentially.
FInally an optimized game.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and is not shown.
