I have more fun laughing at how unlikable the characters are and how much progression it is lacking.
What it gets right is good writing, good sound design, good art, and it's somewhat interesting mystery.
Having a nice art style, BGs and decent BGM is for naught if the characters are empty shells and if the gameplay is annoying instead of being fun.
