Also, if you are learning Mandarin Chinese, you can easily switch between Chinese and English subtitles by accessing the menu and switching the language (which can all be done in about 3 seconds); and because the dialogue is spoken at normal speed (not slowed for non-English speakers), you can accustom yourself with the speed and flow of the speech and use the Chinese characters to practice following what is being said.
