The only progression found in game is to either die or win a round and take what meta-progression you acquire to boost your account for when you start the game.
For me in general, playing with friends is always more fun, so I really appreciate that the game also offers an online coop mode in addition to singleplayer - something you rarely see when it comes to roguelites!
By earning hero points, you can unlock upgrades in the lobby before starting a new run—these improvements apply to all future characters.
After dying, you’ll see a “you died” message and return to the lobby to create a new character.
