What players think
The recurring themes across 159 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The plot is actually interesting but dialogues feel cheap and characters uses to get straight to the point too fast.
There's a better flow for the fetching of progression items in-between dungeon access and clearing.
Since the game was developed as a GBA title first, the visuals go back to the pixel roots of the earlier games in the series which looks great.
This game's soundtrack is also amazing and I feel like the series' musical identity is back and in safe hands once more.
The difficulty is also pretty good, though some parts of it can be a bit repetitive at certain points.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and are not shown.
