The combat has a chance to be a bit repetitive/simple over time, and yet the amount of charm from the writing / characters outweighs it, to me.

it feels like a regular rpg menu (for clarity the tabs are weapons/armor/accessories/consumables/key items/skins) and i'm really impressed with the level of detail present. it's giving "baby's first rpg" but in a way that respects the player's intelligence vs the bare minimum i was kind of expecting
