FOR HONOR™

This game had the potential to be a 10/10 game but Ubisoft's greedy marketing systems, horrible 3rd party software (Ubisoft Connect) and game optimization (DLSS somehow making my 5090 run out of "Virtual Ram"? I have 32gb of it...) lowered it to 5/10 and that 5 coming solely from the fun core combat mechanics.

The flashing guard UI before a hit, the deflect animation with lots of sparks (particle effects) and guardbreaks are all visually satisfying and noticable which makes combat feel smooth.

Character customization, great execution animations, effects, and regular animations — thanks to motion capture, everything still looks excellent despite the game’s age.

The learning curve is insane, the story mode is still unchanged which means all the characters that you’ll play feature an old, jankey annoying and outdated system with old move sets that will throw you off once you play online.

For Honor is multi-player first, but has a lot of *great* single-player and co-op features: a fully-featured, cinematic story campaign with great writing and voice acting, a Practice Mode, AI bot support in Custom Match for nearly all game content, and a co-op Arcade.
