It has almost everything I wanted from a modern AC game. the story is still not as compelling as the original games like the Ezio trilogy or the Kenway trilogy, but its serviceable enough in the maingame.
coming from someone who played all the mainline Assassin's Creed games from 1 to AC4 Black Flag- this game was a pure treat in terms of gameplay and setting.
-> the visuals are pretty good.
Combined with an excellent soundtrack and immersive sound design, the world feels authentic and memorable throughout the experience.
-> good optimization- the game ran fine in my steam deck. played it docked and medium settings. ran mostly at 45 FPS locked, though it did dip to 30s in heavy city areas.
I find the UI (investigation system, menu etc) really nice.
