What players think
The recurring themes across 40 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I love having the more intensive, combat-focused roguelike experience as an option juxtaposed against the narrative progression of the campaign (also roguelike in structure, of course, so this really comes down to preference).
The art style is still the same as PO1, and I mean that as a huge positive.
Each island, ship encounter, and character design carries a bold stylization that suits the game’s playful but adventurous tone.
The juggling of status conditions, the evaluation between melee and ranged, juggling an effective deck size vs. options, being pecked by raging chickens, it's all there.
