Really cool mechanics that allow you to modulate your own difficulty level and get yourself in trouble pushing that risk/reward balance

This is my favorite roguelike, it just works so well, has a lot of content and variety of weapons, and having you heal by collecting low level enemy bones is great.

The game in its current state is very nice, even if I feel it's criminally underrated: simple art style has its charm, there are a lot of fun jokes and while some species of fish are basically "same fish, but yellow", it doesn't make the game less enticing.

A little grindy especially early on but Fish Fear Me offers a lot of pure, unadulterated, stupid-fun accompanied by a banger (albeit limited) soundtrack!!
