huge improvement over the first game. not having to manually *remove* each spent cartridge/shell from your guns makes the pace so much better. also there's some exploration-based levels this time instead of just being a series of linear challenges, and you can actually run away/through encounters to save resources. it's a fully fledged survival horror game this time!
