With that said, the art style has aged amazingly well and the mechanics are both deep and complex enough (even before modding) to allow for untold hours of gameplay.

The Added bennefit of the Steam Edition is access to the steam community for multiplayer compatibility. by comparison it is identical to the GOG edition with exception that the steam version has better compatibility with modern windows OS.
