REVEREND, developed by Twisted Sickle and published by DOSMan Games, is a gritty, horror-themed retro shooter that channels the spirit of the ‘90s FPS golden era with striking confidence.
It takes about an hour to complete, isn't too difficult, isn't too easy, a decent handful guns, and has an art style somewhat reminiscent of Blood (this + the positive reviews was what made me buy it).
The audio-visual design plays a huge role in elevating REVEREND beyond simple genre mimicry.
