The art style isn't actually bad in-game, but again, I'm just wishing they kept pumping out even half-baked Metal Slug games instead of this.

Gameplay, outside of being entirely too easy, is pretty fun, but there are far too many hoops to jump through to get to it.

But flow of the single player game comes to a screeching halt when after a few bosses, you're whisked away to multiplayer land, because the next story mission is locked behind your player's level, which would take forever to increase without multiplayer.
