What players think
The recurring themes across 85 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
At least the gameplay imagery is consistently good, but you will see cutscenes that are kinda ugly.
It's an interesting way to tell a story and give some more details into certain characters.
Artstyle is very cute, specially regarding the sprites of characters, monsters, etc... and of course the events, and all of it is accompanied by an extremely energetic soundtrack that keeps you going non-stop.
It's also one of those quintessential "pick up and play" games; each level takes anywhere from 10-90 seconds, so my Steam Deck felt like the perfect way to play it.
I'll start with the positive things though; the 8-bit inspired graphics and music is great and it's a fun concept.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
