What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Having up to 8 players for fun co-op is amazing and solo/duo runs can be just as fun for the players really looking to grind out the game.
LORT has the bones of a great 8-player co-op experience, but right now it lacks the 'soul' and mechanical depth that makes a roguelite addictive.
I love the play style, the witty voice lines, the bosses and the playable characters.
Also the item names are hilarious, as well as all the characters quips, and the story line for lack of better describing words.
Visuals & Rewards: The vibrant environment art—especially the lush foliage and grass—is what drew me in.
Sound design reinforces the momentum, with punchy audio cues that make every hit, spell, and ability feel impactful without becoming overwhelming.
