This could easily have bogged gameplay down if not implemented well, but again, I felt this was well-balanced, driving tension and strategy while avoiding frustration.

Clever visuals and sound effects add to the palpable sense of fear, giving explosive close-ups when you look directly at the monster, and making stages feel dreadfully cloying, particularly when your foe draws close and the music starts to wane as a warning.

Story, for being an "IT FOLLOWS" idea, is pretty neat and I liked the dialogue bits..

The visuals are Great- They make the creature, whatever is after the briefcase, so much creepier; it really taps into the scary games of like the early PS2/PS1 era graphically and it works so so well.

It takes about 30 minutes to finish the game, so if you're looking for a more challenging experience, I strongly recommend setting the difficulty to extreme.
