This game is almost an "idle game" gameplay wise but it shines due to its story, where there are lots of hidden interactions to find and adorable critters to meet.
The gameplay loop is simple and forgiving enough to be relaxing while still having some interesting puzzles and complexities if you like to optimize things.
You can really tell how much love was poured into this game with the well written dialogues, the fun little minigames, a nice soundtrack, and the art style (the throwbacks to the residents' past, all the different facial expressions for them, the different outfits customers wear, decorations for your bakery, and the seriously delicious-looking treats).
